ZCCM IH ups its shares in Investrust Bank

State owned ZCCM IH has increased its shareholding in Investrust Bank Plc from 45.4% to 71.4%.
This follows the announcement of the mandatory offer by ZCCM-IH to the minority shareholders of Investrust issued on 21st March 2018.
The mandatory offer by ZCCM-IH which opened on 9th April 2018 and closed on Monday, 30th April 2018 recorded a total of 2,125,890 shares tendered for sale to ZCCM-IH.
This level of acceptance represented 26.0% of the total shareholding in the Bank.
According to a notice from the Lusaka Securities Exchange, the ZCCM-IH Board acknowledges the overwhelming success of the mandatory offer and looks forward to better prospects for Investrust.

INVESTRUST Bank Plc says discussions with ZCCM-Investment Holdings (ZCCM-IH) relating to its recapitalisation will soon be finalised subject to regulatory approvals.
ZCCM-IH has increased its shareholding in Investrust from 45.4 percent to 71.4 percent in May this year, becoming the majority shareholder following acceptance of the mandatory offer from the bank’s minority shareholders.
A total of 2,125,890 shares were tendered for sale to ZCCM-IH representing 26 percent of the total shareholding in the bank.

INVESTRUST Bank Plc indique que les discussions avec ZCCM-Investment Holdings (ZCCM-IH) relatives à sa recapitalisation seront bientôt finalisées sous réserve des approbations réglementaires.
ZCCM-IH a porté sa participation dans Investrust de 45,4% à 71,4% en mai de cette année, devenant l'actionnaire majoritaire après l'acceptation de l'offre obligatoire par les actionnaires minoritaires de la banque.
Un total de 2 125 890 actions ont été déposées en vue de la vente à ZCCM-IH, représentant 26% du total des actions de la banque.
