Ferretti S.p.A. to acquire Allied Richard Bertram
Ferretti S.p.A., parent company of Ferretti group, a world leader in the design, construction and
sale of luxury motor yachts, has signed a definitive contract to acquire the assets, brands and
ongoing operations of Allied Richard Bertram Marine Group, one of the largest yacht distribution and
service providers in the United States. The transaction is expected to be completed the first week
of September.
Allied Richard Bertram Marine Group, based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, specializes in after sales
service and marketing of both new and pre-owned motor yachts, as well as brokerage services. The
group’s nine yacht service and distribution centers span Florida from Jacksonville to the Keys,
serving clients in many prestigious yachting and resort communities.
The acquisition of Allied Richard Bertram Marine Group will give Ferretti a powerful distribution
platform to reach and service its customers in Florida and throughout the US. As a result of this
move, Ferretti group customers can look forward to a range of personalized, dedicated services in
the American market as it enters important sectors with high added value, such as after-sales
service assistance.
