Dane-Elec to provide Duracell Flash Memory Products to UK Market; New range of Duracell-branded
memory products

Under the terms of the exclusive five-year agreement, Dane-Elec will manufacture and market
Duracell-branded USB memory devices, SD Cards, and Compact Flash memory, as well as a
Duracell-branded Card reader. Duracell, a Procter & Gamble company, began discussing a possible
partnership with Dane-Elec as far back as 2005 and approached Dane-Elec because of the Company's
high quality reputation in the memory market.

leader in the battery market. Since its inception, Duracell has introduced many different battery
formats, including AAA in the 1950s and AA in 1960. In 2006, Duracell introduced "Power Pix"
batteries with metal hydroxide technology, designed to supply longer life in digital cameras and
other 'high drain' devices by up to twice the number of photos typically achievable with alkaline
batteries.
