Safran in talks with Sony Ericsson, LG, Motorola to sell mobiles ops - report

PARIS (Thomson Financial) - Safran is in talks with SonyEricsson, LG and Motorola as potential
buyers of its mobile phones business, the daily Les Echos said, without citing sources.
It also said Safran is preparing to buy the Chinese company Bird's 50 pct stake in a joint venture
for making mobile phones, to allow Safran to sell the phones business more readily.
Safran already purchased Bird's 50 pct stake in another joint venture they had created for research
and development.
